In the framework of the Czech Presidency, a summit at which a political declaration constituting the so-called Eastern Partnership, whose goal is to deepen the current cooperation of the European Union with six countries of the region – Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, took part in Prague on 7 May 2009.
On this occasion the Association for International Affairs in cooperation with its partners organised an international conference “Eastern Partnership: Towards Civil Society Forum”, which took place on the eve of this summit, i.e. from 5 to 6 May in Prague.

Ten young filmmakers from Armenia and Turkey participated in the Armenia-Turkey Cinema Platform (ATCP) workshop held in Istanbul on April 12-13, 2012 on the sidelines of the 31st Istanbul International Film Festival. The participating film projects, five per country, were handpicked by the ATCP pre-selection committee from among 35 applications.
