What notion do we have of freedom of expression? Is an Armenian artist free? Can elections be considered a demonstration of freedom of expression? To what extent do our local customs restrict freedom of expression? How should freedom of expression be exercised in the media?
A new talk show entitled “Article 27: the Right to Freedom of Expression” on Yerkir Media TV every Saturday starting June 20 at 16:45 will examine these questions. During the talk show, experts and members of the public will discuss documentaries on these and other related topics.

“Article 27: the Right to Freedom of Expression” has been initiated by Eurasia Partnership Foundation as part of its Freedom of Expression project. The project is supported by British Embassy in Armenia and USAID.Ten young filmmakers from Armenia and Turkey participated in the Armenia-Turkey Cinema Platform (ATCP) workshop held in Istanbul on April 12-13, 2012 on the sidelines of the 31st Istanbul International Film Festival. The participating film projects, five per country, were handpicked by the ATCP pre-selection committee from among 35 applications.
