This Request for Application represents a part of the Strategic Partnership between
Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF) and Swedish International Development Agency
(SIDA). Within the framework of this partnership SIDA provides general operating and
program support to EPF in Armenia.
Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF) recognizes that smart people with good ideas can
have significant social impact, especially working at the grassroots level. EPF's Open-
door Grants Program is a tool to support innovative and sometimes risky pilot projects
and to test new ideas at a small scale.
EPF's mission is to empower people to effect change for social justice and economic
prosperity through hands-on programs, helping them to improve their communities
and their own lives. EPF's guiding vision is a South Caucasus region that is peaceful,
conflict-free and cooperative with a high percentage of civically engaged citizens,
socially responsible businesses, and sustainable, responsible and effective third sector
organizations. In all of its programs EPF takes into account the complex political and
socio-economic context in the region of the South Caucasus, and makes a multi-faceted
contribution to community activism, local philanthropy, peace- and confidence-building
in the region.
Goal of the program
To contribute to the advancement of democracy, promotion of European values and
human rights, establishment of freedom of media and speech, as well as to the promotion
of confidence-building between Armenia and the neighboring countries through
innovative projects.

Ten young filmmakers from Armenia and Turkey participated in the Armenia-Turkey Cinema Platform (ATCP) workshop held in Istanbul on April 12-13, 2012 on the sidelines of the 31st Istanbul International Film Festival. The participating film projects, five per country, were handpicked by the ATCP pre-selection committee from among 35 applications.
Caucasus Research Resource Centers-Armenia (CRRC-Armenia) is currently seeking for a person to fill in the position of Office Manager. Under the direct supervision of CRRC-Armenia Director, Office Manager is required to handle office management issues, such as procurement, travel arrangements, event organizations, service contracting and other related duties.
