Town Hall Meetings on Armenia-Turkey relations

Over the last few weeks, the protocols on developing relations and establishing diplomatic ties between Armenia and Turkey have been the subject of a great deal of discussion among policy makers and in the local and international media.

In order to bring the Armenian public, including those living in remote regions, in to the discussion the International Center for Human Development (ICHD) and Eurasia Partnership Foundation are holding a series of 14 Town Hall Meetings throughout Armenia this week. The meetings are made possible by funding from the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

The Town Hall Meeting format gives every member of society an opportunity to directly and productively express their opinion and raise questions. ICHD has previously put forward for discussion a number of important issues through the Town Hall Meeting format, such as potential changes in the Armenian Constitution and settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The meetings are open to the public. All who are interested are invited to participate.
