Yerevan, Armenia – The Delegation of the European Union to Armenia and the Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF) will launch two books providing useful information on the European Union. Hello Europe and The European Union and Armenia will be presented in Yerevan on 15 November 16:00 at the Erebuni hall of the Erebuni Business Center.
The aim of the two publications is to offer an engaging source of information on the EU, as well as main EU-Armenia developments. The European Union and Armenia is designed for the general public and looks at the history of the EU from its creation to its current structure and its prospects for the future. It also elaborates on the progressively increasing relations between the EU and Armenia. Hello Europe targets the youth, in particular high school students. It is, thus, structured in an even more interactive and user-friendly format than the first book. Both are rich with illustrations and graphic outlines to facilitate the intake of information. The overall goal is to provide an interesting read, while serving as a useful source of information.
The publications were written to help ordinary Armenian citizens understand what the EU is and how it functions, and to form their own perspectives on EU-Armenia relations. They also aim at showing how European institutions and the historical European integration process relate to shared European and global values, approaches and aspirations. Both books are prepared as part of the EPF Europe Program which aims at disseminating information on the European Union in Armenia. The publication is made possible with the support of USAID and the European Union.
