Young architects and engineers from Armenia, who participated in a workshop on sustainable building design and energy use with Turkish colleagues in Istanbul in December 2011 shared their professional and networking experiences on February 21, 2012 at the American University of Armenia. Similar public events are scheduled at the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction on February 23, 2012, 4 p.m. and at the Union of Armenian Architects on March 1, 2012, 6 p.m.

Social Media and Citizen Reporting Experience Presented by Social Media Experts from Egypt, United States and Armenia
On January 15-19, (starting at 10 am till 6 pm) 2012, Public Journalism Club (PJC) will conduct a 5-day Boot-Camp Workshop for professional journalists and public reporters/citizen journalists. The Boot-Camp Workshop will take place at PJC’s office located in the building of the Caucasus Institute (39 Yeznik Koghbatsi str.).

The Delegation of the European Union to Armenia and the Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF) launched two books providing useful information on the European Union. Hello Europe and Armenia and the European Union were presented in Yerevan on 15 November at the Erebuni hall of the Erebuni Business Center.

Eurasia Foundation’s Board of Trustees today elected Jan H. Kalicki Chairman and Daniel A. Witt Vice Chairman of the Board. Both have served as Eurasia Foundation Board members for several years. The Foundation promotes prosperity and stability throughout the Eurasia region by supporting local institutions that advance open, pluralistic, and entrepreneurial societies.

Yerevan, Armenia – Dr. David L. Phillips presented the Armenian translation of his book "Unsilencing the Past" on February 4 at Yerevan’s Ani Plaza Hotel. The translation was published by the International Center of Human Development and Eurasia Partnership Foundation with support from USAID.

One June 18, 2009 at 15:30 EPF will host a discussion on Conflict Resolution in the South Caucasus and the Eastern Partnership program. The discussion will take place at EPF’s office on 56 Zarobyan Street in Yerevan and will be the first in a series of discussions related to the Eastern Partnership program.

The first in a series of talk shows entitled “Article 27: the Right to Freedom of Expression” was shown on Yerkir Media Saturday June 13. The weekly show airs Saturdays at 16:45. During the talk shows, Armenian and international documentaries will be shown and issues concerning freedom of expression discussed by the documentary filmmakers, experts on free expression issues and members of the public.
